First Time Visitors

With so many options for lodging, why choose a vacation home with Executive Lodging of the Black Hills? Below are just a few reasons, but really, you'll need to stay with us to truly appreciate the difference.

1. Executive Lodging ranks high on customer satisfaction surveys.

2. We have a high repeat guest percentage. Once people experience one of our homes, they come back again and again.

3. We don't nickle and dime our guests with surprise charges such as cleaning fees, hot tub fees, etc.

4. Executive Lodging works closely with the home owners to provide the best amenities and most desired home features.

5. You get a lower cost per person for groups than a traditional hotel.

6. You won't wake up to a concrete parking lot or a noisy street - our lodges are secluded yet close to all the great adventures the Hills has to offer.

Read what some of our guests have had to say about their stay:

"July 2009 was our first experience staying in a vacation home. It was a truly relaxing, cozy, home-away-from home. We enjoyed waking to the sun inside our warm log home, sipping morning coffee on the wrap around deck while watching the deer frolic beneath us in the woods. The vacation home was well stocked with amenities making it easy for us to prepare healthy, home-cooked meals and to eat together as friends and family. It was an affordable way for 3 close families to comfortably share time together while being able to sight-see the Black Hills area. We will definitely plan more vacations like this and hope to return next year. Hotel vacationing no longer appeals to us. "

"Our usual accommodations are rentals because of the freedom they allow. But we’ve never stayed anywhere that was so beautiful or well-equipped. There was nothing that was overlooked; the kitchen was stocked better than my own, bathrooms were large and lovely and plenty of linens and towels were provided. The big surprise was how comfortable the beds were. It was hard to drag everyone out of the house every day to go sightseeing. We could have kept entertained all day with the games, pool table, TVs, hot tub, etc.  Even books, movies and video games were provided. We started and ended every day on the deck just looking at the breathtaking view. Quiet, secluded, yet easy to get to all the area attractions – it was everything we hoped for. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. We will be back!"

"We searched high and low through the internet for places to hold our family reunion.  I spent hours on the internet looking for just the right place that had all the amenities that would enable us to take care of everyone.  And you may know that is very hard to please all family members.  I picked the Executive Lodging of the Black Hills because of all the reasons I stated above due to their great website.  When we first stepped into the lodge and it was just like the website and everyone just fell in love with the place.  There were no hidden agendas and it was just as advertised!!  It made our family reunion one of the best in the past 13 years. The Staff at Executive Lodging was very helpful in assisting any of our needs and they made the planning stages very simple and stress free.  I would stay with them in a heartbeat again and they give you that warm welcome feeling that many of the other establishments on line don't even come close."

"It was a fantastic home with absolutely everything you could hope for or need.  We have been renting vacation homes for some time now, and this was among the best we have stayed in.  Of course the setting was great.  The lodge was located right in the middle of everything.  There are so many parks and interesting places to explore.  The Badlands was our favorite, but we loved hiking in Custer and Spearfish Canyon, and of course the tour at Mt. Rushmore.  We stayed for a full week and there were still things we wanted to do and see.  The home was so comfortable.  The beds were great, the linens really nice.  Everything about the place was very well done.  I would not hesitate to recommend this as a vacation destination and this lodge as a great place to stay."

"Last summer we stayed at a lodge for a big family vacation.  We had a total of 13 people with ages from 5 to 65.  Everyone absolutely loved it. The decor was just breathtaking, definitely the most beautiful home I've ever stayed in! There were plenty of beds and space for all of us.  The kids loved the hot tub, the pool table, and just hiking around and playing in the woods outside. We put the teens up in the loft area so they had their own space too. The kitchen was spacious and we all took turns cooking and grilling the meals.  We each only had to cook once and had fabulous food for very low cost.  We loved all being in the same big house, but still with space to be alone if we needed too.  The huge outdoor wrap around deck area was a favorite hangout area in the evenings.  We just divided up the cost among all of us, and ended up paying about the same as we would've each paid for hotel rooms for our families, but we had much, much nicer accommodations than any hotel, and more family togetherness than we ever could've had in individual hotel rooms!   The staff at Executive Lodging was very friendly and easy to work with.  The Black Hills was a wonderful place to vacation, there is so much to do and see...we all wanted to stay longer!  We will definitely return!   I would highly recommend this lodge and the Executive Lodging Site for your next vacation!"

"Celebrating our Anniversaries together was something my siblings and I, our spouses, and my parents had talked about for several years. When I heard about "Executive Lodging of the Black Hills" I decided it was time the get the ball rolling on this celebration. It was the perfect place for our long weekend vacation. During the days we each did what interested us individually, and in the evenings we were back at the house to cook a meal together, sit in the hot tub, play some games, and watch TV. All things you can't comfortably do if you each have motel rooms.  The view was incredible and as an added bonus we got snow the last day there so had a beautiful change of scenery also. I still can't imagine a better way to have spent this time with my Family.  Thank you for providing a beautiful home with everything necessary to have a comfortable and relaxed vacation."
